Hygge
Hygge: The Danish Practice of Presence is a booklet exploring the Danish concept of hygge as a way of living rooted in warmth, simplicity, and intentional connection. Through carefully curated imagery and elegant typography, I designed the piece to visually embody the quiet comfort and intimacy that define hygge.
Dark Rangers Telescope Tours
This poster series promotes a hypothetical three-day astronomy event hosted by The Dark Rangers, an organization that leads educational telescope tours in Bryce Canyon National Park. I aligned the event with a full moon and the annual Perseids meteor shower, structuring each night around a distinct celestial focus to create a cohesive yet varied visual system across the series.
Corrie Ten Boom
Corrie ten Boom is one of my heroes. She and her family hid approximately 800 Jewish people in their home during World War II before they were eventually discovered and sent to concentration camps. Despite the horrors they endured, Corrie’s sister Betsie continually searched for reasons to be grateful, allowing her faith in God to be greater than the trials she faced. Betsie later succumbed to illness in the camp, and Corrie was one of the only surviving members of her family. After the war, she wrote The Hiding Place, recounting her experiences and sharing how God gave her the strength to forgive a guard who had abused her and her sister. I designed this article to honor Corrie’s story and highlight the depth of her faith and resilience.
